Array Cumulative SUM: To get the sum of all the values in column B, enter the formula in the top row (eg cell C2):
= Array formula (IF (ISBLANK ($ B $ 2: $ B), SUM ($ B $ 2: $ B)))
It uses the IF function to check if column B is empty and displays the amount for non-empty rows only.
Array% of Total: To calculate% of values in column B, enter the formula in the top row (eg cell D2):
= Array formula (IF (ISBLANK ($ B $ 2: $ B), $ B $ 2: $ B / SUM ($ B $ 2: $ B)).
Array Average: To calculate the average of all the values in column B, enter this formula in the top row (eg cell E2):
= ArrayFormula (IF (ISBLANK ($ B $ 2: $ B), AVERAGE ($ B $ 2: $ B)))
Array IF: To create ranges for values in column B, enter the formula in the top row (eg cell F2):
= Array formula (IF (ISBLANK ($ B $ 2: $ B), IF ($ B $ 2: $ B> 50, “Large”, “Small”)))
All of this will expand to fill the entire column, displaying values for any rows numbered in column B. It will auto-update when new data arrives through Google Forms.
